Talc is a natural and effective alternative to chemical solutions for deposit control. It is chemically inert and will not pollute process waters, disturb other process parameters or react with other additives, enabling papermakers to work in closed-water circuits. It can be added throughout the paper making process.
Talc is effective for pitch and stickies control in both chemical and mechanical virgin pulp deinked (DIP) and recycled fibre (RCF) pulp.
When used as a coating pigment, our talc provides several benefits, among others, enhanced runnability and improved quality of finished paper for rotogravure and offset printing papers.
