Chief Executive Officer
Nilesh Shah is the Chief Executive Officer of Artemyn, where he is spearheading the company’s strategic transformation from a traditional industrial minerals business into a dynamic, global enterprise focused on innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric growth.
With over 25 years of professional experience and more than a decade in C-suite roles, Nilesh has successfully led complex organizations across multiple industries, including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution of consumer products, logistics and transportation, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies and equipment. His leadership has consistently driven operational excellence, financial discipline, and strategic growth in diverse business environments.
At Artemyn, Nilesh is leading the company’s expansion beyond its legacy in paper and board, unlocking new opportunities in high-potential sectors such as paints, ceramics, fiberglass, cement, agriculture, and water treatment. He has established a clear and ambitious roadmap, aligned global teams under a unified culture, and laid a strong foundation for long-term, profitable growth.
Nilesh is a Chartered Accountant (India), a Certified Public Accountant (USA), and an alumnus of Columbia Business School’s Executive Education in Business Management.
Renowned for his integrity, collaborative leadership style, and customer-first mindset, Nilesh is deeply committed to building high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and delivering lasting value to Artemyn’s customers, employees, and global stakeholders.
Artemyn CFO – France
Julien is French, holds 25 years of experience out of which 13 years in South America and 5 years in Asia
During his 15+ years for Imerys, Julien has always worked in the perimeter which is today the one of Artemyn, in Kaolin, at Capim, and Carbonates, at Sao Paulo, Singapore or Paris at Regional or Global levels.
Julien strongly believes that Artemyn’s experienced and committed teams as well as its global footprint are unique assets to seize opportunities and foster its development.
EMEA VP/GM
Mikael is from Finland and holds a masters degree in chemical engineering from Åbo Akademi University in Finland. He is a seasoned sales professional with more than 30 years of experience ranging from Key Account Management to Global Sales and Marketing Management.
Throughout his career he has been working towards the Paper, Board and Pulp industry, the past 21 in Imerys responsible for very much the same minerals that forms the foundation of the Artemyn business.
In Artemyn Mikael is responsible for the Global Sales and Marketing function. His ambition is to solidify the market leading position of Artemyn making the company the first choice for high performance mineral solutions for industry.
Artemyn Human Resources Vice President – Brazil
Dedicating the previous 11 years to HR in South America, Márcia has 30 years experience in global companies, including large transformations and new acquisitions projects.
Her goal is to structure initiatives supporting: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, development of people and talent retention fostering business growth.
Operations Vice President
Pierre has been focusing on the Environmental, Health and Safety functions over the last 3 years in Europe, and was very proud to strive and participate in the process of improving the working conditions in the plants and our environmental footprint. Actually, this was his focus recently but it has been an underlying driver all along his industrial career.
When he started with Imerys Group 9 years ago,he was in charge of a development project in the Lime business involving a new plant technical start up and sales ramp up. Following this mission, he also held the industrial Director position of the Carbonates division.
Prior to integrating Imerys, he spent over 20 years in the cement industry holding different positions in the Industrial function in France, but also in Brazil, USA and Canada.
On a more personal note, he was raised in Paris and is French but he also holds a Brazilian passport for being born in this great country when his parents were expatriates for a few years.
Artemyn General Counsel Vice President – France
Gaïa holds two citizenships (French and Argentinian) and started her career at Imerys in 2012 after studying International Commercial Law in France and obtaining an LLM degree at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Since then, Gaïa has held various roles of increasing responsibilities within the Imerys EMEA legal department until becoming Legal Manager in 2019, in charge of the commercial legal aspects of various minerals and industrial plants serving a broad range of industrial applications such as plastics, life sciences, polymers, adhesives and filtration.
