Pulp Bleaching

Pulp bleaching is an integral part of the paper making process for many paper and packaging applications where high brightness and whiteness products are required. This can include graphic paper, high-end packaging or white tissue paper.

Pulp bleaching technologies are chemically demanding processes which use a broad range of chemicals including hydrogen peroxide, magnesium sulphate and alkalis such as sodium hydroxide.

More about pulp bleaching

Artemyn’s EcoBright™ solution is a magnesium hydroxide bleaching additive which is a non-corrosive alkali which enhances mechanical and chemical pulp bleaching through the reduction or elimination of sodium hydroxide and magnesium sulphate. It also gives the potential to lower peroxide dosages in most systems.

Besides having an environmentally sound profile it also provides benefits in several areas, such as cost reduction, quality improvement and improved productivity.
