22 young employees from Artemyn recently embarked on their first visit to Artemyn’s kaolin mines in Brazil. This was their first time witnessing large-scale mineral extraction and processing up close, offering insights into the complexities behind sustainable mining operations.

During the visit, the young professionals, between 16 to 22 years old, who work in many departments of Artemyn such as Environment, HR, Safety, Health, Process, Maintenance, Warehouse, Port Production, Logistics, IT, Operational Excellence and more, explored every stage of kaolin extraction at ARCC mine, in Ipixuna do Pará, Brazil.
Guided by local leaders and Human Resources team, they observed advanced technologies used in processing the mineral to meet diverse industrial applications, including paper, ceramics, and cosmetics. The team also learned about safety standards, environmental practices, and community engagement efforts that ensure Artemyn’s operations align with responsible mining principles.
