Artemyn committed to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), recognizing them as a fundamental framework for sustainable and responsible business practices.
A key area of focus is SDG 8, “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” specifically target 8.8, which advocates for protecting labor rights and promoting safe and secure working environments for all workers. Artemyn sites are active through local initiatives, such as the recent eye safety campaign, at Artemyn Bhadrachalam plan, in India.
Workshops and lectures were given by health and safety personnel, and the main topics covered were:
- How can workplace hazards be eliminated?
- Report of the last LTA that occurred in the plant
- How can I protect my eyes at work?
- What should I do if my eyes have been harmed in the workplace?
